The
partnership supports education on prescribed fire and fire ecology
issues through sponsorship and participation in conferences,
workshops, and educational programs for the general public, educational
institutions, and private groups. The goals of these efforts
are increased public understanding regarding the role of fire
in ecosystems and the facilitation of information exchange between
fire management entities.
