Naturalists’ Ball Comes Home
for a Special Birthday

Tall Timbers celebrated its 50th anniversary in style at the annual Naturalists’ Ball on Saturday February 16, 2008. Because of our very special anniversary occasion, the Naturalists’ Ball was brought back to the Beadel Lawn overlooking Lake Iamonia on the campus of Tall Timbers. Over 225 nattily attired guests gathered under the tent to help celebrate 50 years of wildlife and wildlands stewardship. Guests dined on sumptuous fare and danced the night away to the rockin’ tunes of Bobby and the Aristocrats, from Atlanta. Proceeds from the Naturalists’ Ball help support the Tall Timbers Foundation which funds the research and conservation programs of Tall Timbers. Special thanks are in order to our wonderful Naturalists’ Ball Committee for all of their hard work, time and dedication to help make this year’s Ball a smashing success: Henrietta Walter, Chairman; Sugar Blount, Carolyn Haley, Brandy Kirkham, Molly Middleton, Ram Singletary, Carol Anne Thompson, Sonia Vick and Ebe Walter.
