Support Tall Timbers

Membership: Your Participation
DOES Make A Difference!

We Need Your Support – Become a Tall Timbers Member Today! Annual membership gifts help support the day-to-day operations of Tall Timbers and are the lifeblood of our organization. As a charitable non-profit, Tall Timbers relies on the generous financial support of our members to help sustain the important research and conservation programs within the organization. Our annual budget is currently over $2 million – the majority of which comes from public support. As Tall Timbers continues to grow in size and scope, so must our membership base – we need new members to support our research and conservation mission.

Tall Timbers is:

  • Home of the nation’s oldest and largest game bird research program – we are dedicated to long-term study of the Northern Bobwhite Quail and its habitat
  • The birthplace of modern fire ecology – we study the crucial role that prescribed fire plays in management of healthy forests and wildlife
  • Committed to protecting and restoring habitat conditions for many threatened and endangered vertebrate species associated with longleaf pine ecosystems
  • The largest regional land trust in both Florida and Georgia with over 105,000 acres under conservation easement – we work to protect and conserve the unique rural landscape of South Georgia and North Florida.

Please take a moment to tour our website, to learn about our programs and to join others like you as a member of Tall Timbers. Take a look at our membership brochure.
