Research Interests:
My research interests include wildlife ecology and conservation, especially of the Galliformes.  One major area of research is related to the Northern Bobwhite in the Southeast.  My second area is on endangered Galliformes in a number of countries.  I am co-chair of the WPA/IUCN-SSC Partridge, Quail, and Francolin Specialist Group.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy hunting, fishing, and other outdoor pursuits.  I also enjoy biking and snowboarding.  For more intellectual fun I read lots of historical fiction and non-fiction.  Around the house I like to vegetable garden.
