Owned by the Smith family, Seminole is managed with care and consistency for great wild bird shooting. In 2008, Seminole hosted the Georgia-Florida Field Trial Club’s annual Shooting Dog Trials. Lot 7: Thomas Brooks Original Painting
Mood and light of the natural world dominate the paintings of Thomas Brooks. For his inspiration he relies on personal experiences as an essential element in creating the authenticity and atmosphere for which his work is known. Thomas' work has gained wide recognition throughout the United States. Thomas was the featured painter at the 2007 Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival in Thomasville and last year he was chosen as the featured artist at the Southeastern Wildlife Expo in Charleston, SC.
This original piece, “Red Hills Strutters” (oil on canvas 24"x30") reflects Brooks’ love of native Florida wildlife and would be a centerpiece for any collection.
